Asking for What You Need, and Knowing How to Receive (Affirmations)

I am responsible for asking for what I need.
The people around me cannot guess at what that is, even when they truly care.
Reminding others of how they are not meeting my needs isn’t a kind way to let them know.

When I ask directly, I step into empowerment and open a door for receiving.
When I hint in undirect ways, I slip into feelings of insecurity, fear, abandonment.

I speak my truth with kindness, confidence, and deep humbleness.
When I am feeling vulnerable, still I stand, whether with wet eyes or dry.
